Our Story
Idílico was born on May 14, 2019, as the shared dream of two gastronomy enthusiasts, Yeison Mora and Cristian Salazar. From the very beginning, the restaurant has been a tribute to local flavors— a space where respect for ingredients and strong connections with small producers translate into seasonal dishes that showcase the best of our pantry.
Located in the heart of the city, Idílico is more than just a restaurant; it is a culinary proposal designed to surprise and move each guest with an honest, creative, and deeply rooted local cuisine.
Our Philosophy
At Idílico, we believe in the value of locally sourced products, teamwork, and hospitality as an art. Our cuisine is based on fresh ingredients, carefully selected and crafted with techniques that enhance their essence. We do not have a fixed menu; instead, our offerings are shaped by what nature and our producers provide at any given moment.
Moreover, service is a key element of our concept. We strive for every guest to not only enjoy an exceptional meal but also to live a complete experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive and heartfelt service.

Yeison Mora / Chef Co-Founder
Yeison Mora is the creative soul behind Idílico’s kitchen. He studied gastronomy at Universidad Luis Amigó and has honed his craft in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, including El Celler de Can Roca, Quique Dacosta, Mugaritz, Central, and ElCielo, among others. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of fine dining and the ability to fuse avant-garde techniques with traditional ingredients, resulting in dishes that captivate the senses.

Cristian Salazar / Head of Service and Co-Founder
Cristian Salazar is the face of service at Idílico. With over a decade of experience in the industry, his training has been entirely hands-on, learning through practice and direct interaction with guests. His passion for hospitality, combined with his expertise in wines, ensures that every visit to Idílico is a unique experience.
Our Team and Suppliers
Idílico would not be possible without the collective effort of our team. Currently, more than 20 people are part of this family, working with dedication to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience. We also extend our gratitude to our local suppliers and farmers, whose work is essential in bringing fresh, high-quality ingredients to the table.
